Education2022 – 2026
Rice University
B.S. Computer Science & B.S. Statistics
I came to Rice knowing I wanted to build things, but not much else. Four years of exploring — statistics depth, internships in production systems, a robotics course that stuck — showed me what actually resonates. The small size meant I could sit in a professor's office or grab lunch with someone I just met and actually have a conversation.
That freedom to explore without pressure to optimize changed how I think about problems. I learned statistics because inference was interesting. I took a lot of great electives.
Rice didn't make me technical — the work did. But it gave me the space to figure out what I actually cared about, and that space was everything.
